Getting to Fluffy Paws from Trinity Bellwoods

From Queen and Gore Vale or Crawford it is a 10 to 15 minute walk west along Queen to Sudbury Street, one short block south. The 501 Queen streetcar covers it in a few stops, but at this distance the walk usually wins, especially with a dog who needs the sniffing mileage anyway.

Around Trinity Bellwoods

  • Trinity Bellwoods Park itself, the biggest dog scene in the west end and the reason half our assessments from this area start with "the park is a bit much for him"
  • The Queen West strip between Gore Vale and Dovercourt, the exact route most of our Trinity Bellwoods clients walk to reach us
  • Gore Vale Avenue and the quieter park-edge streets, our preferred low-stimulation walking route for nervous dogs from this pocket

Living beside the city’s busiest dog park shapes what Trinity Bellwoods owners ask us for: structured, supervised play for dogs who find the bowl overwhelming, and a reliable weekday routine so the park can stay what it should be, the weekend treat. We are the calm counterweight to a very exciting park.

A Trinity Bellwoods Regular

A golden retriever I'll call Noodle grew up half a block from Trinity Bellwoods, which sounds like paradise until you learn Noodle was terrified of the dog bowl. Too many dogs, too fast, one bad cornering as a puppy. Her owners walked her past it every day feeling guilty. She joined our groups at eight months, spent three weeks relearning that dogs approach politely when a human enforces it, and now does supervised play here on weekdays and the bowl on quiet Sunday mornings with two dog friends she met in our play room. The park stopped being homework.

Dog Boarding for Trinity Bellwoods Residents

Many of our Trinity Bellwoods clients actually come to us for overnight boarding first — condo living and frequent travel go together. Boarding is $85/night ($95 on peak long-weekend nights) and includes 3+ individual daily walks, supervised play with the daycare group, three meals a day with the food you bring, medication administration, and photo/video updates. Dogs who attend even occasional daycare settle into boarding much faster — the space and the people are already familiar.

What Trinity Bellwoods Dogs Get at Fluffy Paws

Every daycare day includes supervised play grouped by size, energy, and temperament; 2 individual outdoor walks (not group walks); behavior-training reinforcement at no extra cost; meals if you bring your dog’s own food; medication administration; and daily photo/video updates.
